Dry red wine, 13% alcohol. Medium-dark, with dark ruby color. Medium intensity nose, with red fruit, macerated strawberries, flowers. Medium body, juicy texture, good concentration of flavors. The wine has medium acidity, very well balanced with the flavors. The finish is medium in length, with red fruit and some spices emerging (gloves).
A very attractive, medium-light bodied wine with red fruit and spices. This wine is 100% nebbiolo.
It isn’t often that the entry-level of a winery is 4 years old near release, but this shows how some grape varieties- like nebbiolo- really should be drank with more age.
