2019 Fontanabianca Barbaresco [Rating: 5/5 | $33]

Pale brick-red color. Classic aromas of cherry, pan di spagna cake, spices, and tobacco. This is mainly fruit-driven with tobacco notes. Concentrated flavors even in the mouth, great texture and it has mid-full body. The tannins are there, but they are harmoniously integrated with the concentrated fruit. Long finish with tobacco and plums. One of the best Barbaresco (or Barolo) in the last year.
