For some reason (marketing?) this wine in the front label says “Sauvignon blanc”, but in reality it is a blend primarily of Garganega. Sauvignon blanc only makes 15% of the blend.

Dry white wine, 12% alcohol. Very pale, lemon color. Medium-high intensity nose, very grassy, with hints of citrus and banana pepper. Classic sauvignon blanc profile. Light body but with a good presence in the palate because of the acidity and texture. Same flavors in the nose are present in the palate, and persist for a long finish.

This wine (at only 12% alcohol) proves that light body doesn’t mean water-down. In fact, this wine has plenty of flavor and structure to accompany food – and it is delicious.
