This is one of my go-to nebbiolo that is not from Langhe (the area including Barolo and Barbaresco).
Dry red wine, 13.5% alcohol. Medium opacity, with dark garnet color. Medium intensity nose, very floral, with black currant, plums, and dried dates. Also some sage. Medium body, with striking acidity and dusty tannins. In the palate there are more cherries and dried cherries. Long finish. This wine has a very ripe profile – riper than usual. It is still very balanced and elegant.
A riper version of this wine, with dried fruit and dusty tannins. Medium body deliciousness.
