This is a reference producer of Gattinara, and they have this iconic bottle shaped asymmetrically. These are elegant wines with lots of aging potential. Here is my review of the most recent vintage release.

Dry red wine. Medium light opacity, garnet color. Medium intensity nose, with red fruit, flowers, incense, blood orange, pine cones. Medium/light body, with good concentration to balance the tannins. This feels quite rich. The finish is long and delicious, with masses of red fruits.

An impressively attractive nose and a rich mouthfeel. The 2021 is a great version of this Gattinara. To purchase more!
