This is a reference producer from Alsace that is also widely available in wine stores and grocery stores in the US. In fact, it is an iconic label.

I am a big fan of Riesling, but I don’t drink enough of it. It is a very flexible grape that can be made into different styles of wine – from bone dry to extremely sweet (ice wine). I like all the styles.

I would consider this specific bottle “dry”, but it still has a richness from the residual sugar. Together with the bright acidity, they give a fuller body to the wine.

Dry white wine, 12.5% alcohol. Medium-low opacity, lemon color. Medium intensity nose, with gas/petroleum, citrus, and apple. Very attractive. Medium body, beautiful acidity that gives a crunchy texture, and a long finish with notes of almond.

A dry Riesling that impresses for the mouthfeel and makes you want to have more Rieslings in your life.
