I haven’t reviewed here yet any sparkling wine. So here I start with a Lambrusco. This one is made with Lambrusco Marani grapes.

Dry rosé sparkling wine, 11.5% alcohol. Low opacity (as a rosé should be), orange color. Medium intensity nose, showing medical alcohol, cherry liqueur, bread crumbs, hints of red fruit. Light body, good balance, soft, and with lingering flavors of cherry in the finish.

I think this wine might have passed its peak, but this Lambrusco is showing some nice tertiary aromas and a delicious finish with cherries. Makes me want to drink more bubbles!
