I have been a long time fan of this producer. Caprili makes fantastic Brunellos that are elegant, rich yet never over-the-top. All for very affordable prices (for a Brunello).

Dry red wine, 14% alcohol. Medium opacity, ruby color. Medium-high intensity nose, displaying red fruit, cherry liqueur, Mediterranean herbs. Medium body, extremely velvety and smooth, with good concentration and structure. Finishes very long with plum and raspberry.

One of the silkiest Brunellos – and Sangiovese – I have had in a long time! This is elegant, smooth, and packed with red fruit.
