Tasted on December 11, 2024. #DailyWine #dnardi #Sangiovese #Tuscany #Chianti #ChiantiClassico #Querceto #CastelloDiQuerceto
Second vintage that I try of this wine, which is a very good value in Chianti Classico – and Tuscany in general.
Dry red wine, 13% alcohol. Medium opacity, garnet color with purple notes. Medium-high intensity nose, with raspberry, strawberry, flowers, and pine cone. Some hints of clove. Light body, but very tasty and with a nice acidity and tannic structure to go along with the ripe fruit. The finish is very long.
This is a light version of a tasty and aromatically appealing Chianti Classico.
