Here I review the new vintage of the Rizzi Barbaresco, an iconic label that produces value-driven, excellent wines.

Dry red wine, 14.5% alcohol. Medium opacity, ruby color. Medium intensity nose, packed with red fruit aromas, flowers, and dried strawberries. Full body and concentrated, yet it feels lighter and slim in the palate than it should be at 14.5% abv. The fruit is perfectly balanced by the bright acidity (and some ripe tannins too). The finish is extremely long and attractive.

A Barbaresco that is impressive for the concentration of red fruit aromas combined with the light mouthfeel.
