I have already mentioned that it’s not easy to find good Barolos under $40. This is a wine I already tried in lesser vintage. Here is a review of the 2020 vintage, and the wine is not good. It is phenomenal.

Dry red wine, 14% alcohol. Medium opacity, pomegranate color rim. Medium-high intensity nose, dominated by strawberry, pomegranate, cherry, with also some menthol accent. Medium body, concentrated flavors, good amount of tannins. The finish is excellent and long.

A mid-weight, elegant, very aromatic Barolo, with a never-ending finish. What a value!!
