One of my favorite producers from Abruzzo, Tiberio, just released their latest set of wines. This is their entry-level Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, made with the indigenous Trebbiano Abruzzese grape.

Dry white wine, 13% alcohol. Medium opacity, with a lemon-golden color. Medium intensity nose, with chamomile, apple, and hints of pineapple. Medium-full body, nice acidity (less than the 2022 version), lean, with a long finish displaying crisp apple and grassy notes. The acidity is tamer than the previous vintage, making it smoother and more appealing.

Another intriguing and pleasing – and more accessible, compared to the 2022 edition – white wine from Abruzzo that you should seek out!
