In my quest to try all – or at least most – of the Chianti Classico producer, this was on my radar for having a high reputation for quality and price minded wines.
Dry red wine, 14% alcohol. Medium-high opacity, garnet color rims. Medium intensity nose, with cherry, rosemary, dust, and floral aromas. Medium-full body, good concentration of flavors, and silky texture. Finishes long with dark fruit, like plums.
This is a great example of textbook Chianti Classico. It is perfectly balanced, very smooth, and with lush aromas. All in very well priced package.
