Dry red wine, 14.5% alcohol. High opacity, with burgundy rims. Medium intensity nose, with blackberries and plums, as well as pipe tobacco, spice box. Full body, with overripe flavors of dried figs and bay leaves. There is some acidity and tannic structure to counteract the ripeness. Very long finish.

This wine is big, displaying a potent mix of dark fruit and figs, with some oak notes. There is still balance with the structure, but you have to like the overripe, almost port-like style.
