If you are interested in Barolos, now it’s a great time to explore them. The recent (2019) and upcoming releases (2020 and 2021) are full of great value wines. This is another bottle that I found for a modest price tag.
Dry red wine, 14.5%. Medium opacity, garnet color. Medium-high intensity nose, with spice cake, rose petals, cherry, and cherry liqueur. Medium-full body (deceivingly seems lighter that it actually is), concentrated flavors, bright acidity, and long finish with red fruit.
Impeccabile balance, smooth tannins, and concentrated, cherry aromas. This is another fantastic 2019 Barolo!
