Bandol is a denomination in the south of France making classic rose’ wines. This Bandol rose’ is a blend of 59% Mourvedre, 24% Cinsault, 12% Grenache, 5% Clairette.

Dry rose’ wine, 13.5% alcohol. Light opacity, pink/salmon color. Medium-high intensity nose, displaying currants, watermelon, grapefruit, celery, and star anise. Medium body, very soft (light) acidity. Medium high concentration of flavors and long persistence with star-anise.

This is a soft, gentle, aromatically intense and complex rose’. Star-anise galore!
