Another 2019 Barolo from a reference producer. This is Vietti’s straight (basic) Barolo.

Dry red wine, 14% alcohol. Medium opacity, garnet color. Medium intensity nose, with red fruit, specifically cherry and strawberry, as well as orange peel and rosemary. Still very closed. Medium-full body, medium-high concentration of flavors, with prominent tannins. Same aromas in the nose are present in the palate. The finish is very long, with jujubes and red fruit.

A very fruit forward, young Barolo. To try again in 15 years.
