Another reference producer of Chianti Classico that I haven’t reviewed yet. Here it goes.
Dry red wine, 13.5% alcohol. Medium opacity, ruby color. Medium-high intensity nose, showcasing tart cherries, canned peaches, flowers, and clover. Medium body, there is a fizzy texture in the palate given by the acidity. Concentrated flavors, and a long finish with floral notes.
This is a Chianti Classico on the “lighter” side, with an elegant personality, fresh, and aromatically exciting. Lots of flowers. Reminds me of Selvapiana Chianti Rufina for the flavor profile.
