One of the best value rose’ wine you can find. #RoseWineAllYearRound

This is a rose’ wine made from the Puglia (Apulia) region in the heel of Italy. It is made with the Negroamaro grape, which is very well suited for making rose’ wines. According to the Italian wine expert Ian d’Agata, in fact, this grape/region is one of the top two most vocated for rose’ wines in Italy (the other being Montepulciano d’Abruzzo).

Dry rose’ wine, 12.5% alcohol. Medium opacity (for a rose’), salmon-strawberry color. Medium-high intensity nose, with sweet cotton-candy, wild strawberry aromas, and hints of mint, italian confetti, and bay leaf. Medium-light body, soft and tasty with minerality and red fruit in the palate. It almost feels a bit fizzy. Good progression and crunchy mouthfeel. Long finish.
