A big, bold Chianti Classico.

Dry red wine, 14.5% alcohol. Medium opacity, burgundy color. Medium intensity nose, dominated by intense red fruit aromas accompanied by notes of herbs. Jujubes, raspberry, cherries, strawberries. Same aromas are present in the palate. Full body and concentrated flavors. You can tell that the alcohol level is not low, although there is no heat. Some tannins that counteract the fruitiness. Long finish.

This wine seems a bit monolithic and simple, but those fruit flavors are delicious and concentrated. The weight, alcohol, and tannins make this wine very big, and with food it will shine. Probably it will show even better in 10 years. I am putting a few bottles aside to find out.
