Dry red wine, 14% alcohol. Dark ruby color, medium opacity. Medium intensity nose, but a bit closed initially. Expresses red fruit, dried figs, and a whiff of vegetables. Very luscious in the palate, it feels full body and “warm” (no heat from alcohol though). Comparatively, the acidity is lower than some Chianti Classicos, making this softer. The finish is extremely long, with jujubes, raspberry, and spices.
