Verdicchio is probably the most underrated white wine.

Bright lemon color; very pale. Medium intensity nose, with very appealing aromas dominated by lemon, with some hints of dried apricots, rocks, and whiff of paint. Medium body. Smooth. Not as high acidity as other verdicchios. Slightly oily texture. Almonds in the finish, which is long. Reminds me of a vermentino – a very good one.
