Can good Barolo be relatively inexpensive? Yes. Especially if it comes from a good vintage, as in 2019.
Very light pink ruby color; so pale that it seems it could be a dark rose’ wine. Intense nose, with red fruit (raspberry), flowers, and a hint of vegetable. In the mouth it has light texture, it is ethereal and aromatic, with lots of red fruit, red liquirish, and orange peel. Very long finish. The best thing about this wine is the smooth, velvety palate. The tannins are beautifully integrated with the tasty flavors. An extremely elegant wine.
