This wine is a blend mostly made of Sangiovese, with about 20% of Cabernet Sauvignon. Ruby color, medium opacity (not as dark as other blends that you can find in Tuscany). Very expressive nose (medium-high intensity), with blackberry, blackberry jam, and rosemary. Good concentration of flavors in the mouth, and very smooth. Medium body and long finish. This wine drinks like a Chianti Classico – and a very good one. You cannot tell that 20% is Cab. Well done!
