There are two main areas for great rose’ in Italy: the Apulia (Puglia) region and the Abruzzo region. This is a good example from Puglia, made from 100% Negroamaro grapes.
The color is bright orange with pink hues. Very intense aromas of yellow apple, marzipan, orange peel, and parsley. Medium to light body. Medium acidity, smooth and flavorful. Just a touch of residual sugar. Long finish. Delicious!
