Sauvignon blancs are a very common type of varietal wines. This is a bottle from France, so it is not as much over-the-top as the New World examples. It has a very pale lemon yellow color. Good nose intensity, with lemon, flint, green grass, and pear. In the palate, it comes across a bit greener. Light body, with crisp acidity. Simple and good.
