Ruby with a hint of purple, medium intensity color. The nose is medium intense, initially with plums and a hint of animal notes. On the palate it is rich with cherries, but also some smokiness/veggie flavor. It is very tannic and with upfront acidity. Very long finish, with drying tannins but a lot of fruit too. Giuggiole (Chinese dates) in the finish. A bit disjointed with tannins and fruit, and weird funky/veggie accent, but very enjoyable.
